Board Meetings
Regular board Meetings are held every Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. on the second floor of the Crawford County Courthouse in Denison. Additional meetings may be called by the Board chairman.

Duties of the Board of Supervisors
Services provided by the Crawford County, Iowa, Board of Supervisors include:
- approving budgets of county officials
- establishing and vacating public highways
- allowing claims against the county and order paid
- levying taxes to raise revenue for county expenses
- filling vacancies in offices of elected officials (except their own board)
- canvassing votes at the primary, general, and all other elections
- approving ordinances and amendments to ordinances
- entering into leases and insurance agreements
- approving bonds
- administering oaths and taking affirmations
